In January 2025, the World Economic Forum identified the spread of misinformation and disinformation as the top short-term risk to global prosperity. This threat is amplified by a perfect storm: the decline of traditional media, the rise of information warfare, and the rapid advancements of generative AI.
We now live in a world with a surplus of information but a deficit of truth. Distinguishing quality from quantity, and retaining value over volume, has become a daily challenge for the modern thinker.
That's why we are building Occasio, the first knowledge management system designed specifically to save, source, and share impactful words that resonate across time and place.
For organisations, the "information flood" isn’t just an annoyance—it’s a financial and strategic drain. Business-critical insights are often siloed in discrete documents or lost in the churn of staff turnover.
As AI continues to commoditise content, the leading voices of the future will be those who maintain their points of differentiation. Occasio provides the infrastructure to strengthen these knowledge cycles. By focusing on qualitative data—the nuanced, human perspectives that drive innovation—we ensure your unique intellectual capital is never lost, but instead recycled into new opportunities.
In Roman mythology, Occasio was the goddess of the opportune moment. She represented the Greek God Kairos—the elusive, vital element of perfect timing where words and actions align to achieve maximum impact.
For the orator, the strategist, or the researcher, having the "right" information is only half the battle. The other half is having it at the right time. By bridging the gap between a massive library of data and the moment of persuasion, Occasio helps you find the exact words to meet your moment. With Occasio, you have both truth and timeliness on your side.

While we are serious about building systems that benefit the world, our internal channels remain a safe haven for high-quality puns and low-quality GIFs.
